Week in Rewind Volume 109
Happy Monday, friend!
I feel like a bit of a broken record, but it was another hectic week around here, which means I didn’t get to share the posts I had planned. And it’s also why I’m running a little late with this week’s recap.
With my oldest daughter unable to drive after her ACL surgery, I’ve been spending a lot of extra time in the car picking her up, running her to PT, and getting her to practice. I definitely forgot how spoiled we were having another driver in the house, and how quickly the hours rack up just running back and forth across town each day.
Thank goodness for caffeine and Christmas music to get me through. (Yes, Christmas music… It’s my happy place!)
Speaking of Christmas, even though I didn’t write any new posts, I’m sharing a few of my Halloween favorites from seasons past. And, I did share some exciting holiday news in one of this week’s newsletters (more on that below).
And, as always, I’ve rounded up some seasonal inspiration and a few favorites from friends that I think you’ll love.
So grab a cozy fall drink, get comfy, and let’s catch up on the latest week in rewind.

Tidbits from Home
This week was busy with lots of extra doctor’s appointments and physical therapy sessions for Peyton.

She is rocking PT, and for being just a little over a week post-op, she’s already doing leg raises with weights, light squats, and even got to hop on the exercise bike.

She also went to her first game with the team since surgery. It breaks my heart that she can’t be out on the floor, but I’m glad she’s still bringing the same energy and fire from the bench to help lead her team.

With all the hustle, Harper and I still found time to sneak in a little mommy-daughter date. We went to a local coffee shop for an afternoon pick-me-up and got some homework and work done together.
And, as I already mentioned, I had great intentions of sharing some new, fun Halloween posts with you this month, including a decorated Halloween porch and several spooky recipes. But, with surgery and everything else going on, my blogging schedule has definitely taken a backseat.
I still haven’t decorated our porch for fall, and my dead, crunchy flowers are probably the talk of the cul-de-sac. At this point, I’m tempted to skip the pumpkins altogether and jump straight into Christmas while the weather is still nice. Who needs mums when you can have twinkle lights, right?
I’m working on my November and December content calendars, and I’d love your input. I have some fun things planned, but I want to know what you’d enjoy most. More recipes? Tablescapes? Decorating ideas? Tell me in the comments because I really do love hearing from you.
What I’m Shopping for This Week
Did you know that whenever you click on a shoppable link in my posts and make a purchase, I earn a small commission – even if it’s not the specific item I’ve linked?
Your support means the world to me, and I’m genuinely thankful when you shop through my links. It allows me to keep sharing free content with all of you here on the blog.
For more great finds, you can shop my Amazon storefront or find me on the LiketoKnowIt app.
This holiday find is even prettier in person and makes the easiest seasonal centerpiece.
My favorite Christmas garland that sells out every year is currently 48% off, so if you’ve been eyeing one (or two), now’s the time to grab it!
This is one of those little everyday luxuries I didn’t know I needed until I had it.
These are perfect for holiday entertaining, or they would make the perfect hostess gift
I have and love this cozy decor find and use it every day.

Since I wasn’t able to share any new posts this week, I thought I’d round up a few of my favorites from past spooky seasons.

If you’re hosting a dinner party or just want to add a little fun for your family, I shared how to style a boo-tiful Halloween table, complete with DIY ghost napkins you can make in under five minutes.

And this adorable ghost in a cloche is still one of my favorite Halloween DIYs on the blog. It’s simple to make, looks just like the Pottery Barn version, and is a ghoulishly good project for a fraction of the cost.
Something Merry is in the Making…
In case you missed the announcement, for the past few weeks, I’ve been working on something special with my dear friend Missy at Sonata Home Design.
Together, we’ve been planning something festive to help you kick off the holidays with beautiful seasonal inspiration, delicious food, and plenty of sparkle.
