Instructions
Melt your chocolate in the microwave in a microwave-safe container for 15-30 second increments. Stir frequently to avoid scorching it. You can also melt it on the stove over medium-low heat with a double boiler if you prefer.
Once the chocolate is melted, use the back of a spoon to pour the chocolate into each mold and coat the entire circle. Work as quickly as possible to fill all of the shells before the chocolate begins to set.
Put the mold in the freezer for 5 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Then, add a second layer of chocolate making sure that the mold is completely covered and the shell is thick. Return the mold to the freezer for an additional 5 minutes.
Gently pop each of the chocolate shells out of the mold. In one half of each shell, add 2 tablespoons of Land O Lakes® Cocoa Classics® Cocoa Mix.
To seal the cocoa bombs, heat a microwave-safe plate in the microwave for 60-90 seconds. Once warm, use a hot pad to remove the plate. Then press one of the empty chocolate shells on the plate to slightly melt the edges. Quickly place it on top of the filled half of your chocolate shell.
Add one cocoa bomb to a mug. Pour 6 ounces of hot water over the bomb, stir and enjoy!
