Supplies You’ll Need to Print Your Free Football Printables

Once you download the free football printables, here are a few simple supplies that will help you put everything together:

  • Printer and ink
  • Cardstock or heavy-weight printer paper (keeps banners, pennants, and toppers sturdy)
  • Scissors or a paper cutter
  • Hole punch and twine or ribbon (for hanging the banner or pennants)
  • Wood dowels (to make pennant centerpieces)
  • Glue dots or tape (to attach toppers and straw flags)
  • Toothpicks or skewers (for the cupcake toppers)
  • Straws (for the printable straw flags)

Tips for Using These Printables

  • Print on cardstock for sturdier banners, pennants, and toppers. Regular printer paper works in a pinch, but cardstock helps everything hold up better, especially if you’re hanging the banner or setting out pennants on your food table.
  • Use a paper cutter or scissors for clean edges. A paper cutter is faster and keeps the lines crisp, but a good pair of scissors does the trick, too. Either way, it’s worth spending a few extra minutes for that polished, finished look.
  • Mix them in with store-bought football-themed party supplies. Use your printables alongside things like paper plates, napkins, or balloons from the store. It’s an easy way to stretch your budget and still create a party that feels pulled together.

Set up your party table the night before. You can hang the banner, arrange serving trays, and other decor, so all you need to do on game day is set out your food and drinks!
