Tidbits from Home
The heat here in Nebraska this week has been straight-up brutal, so I’ve been hiding indoors most of the week.
I really need to attack the bindweed that’s completely overrun my flower beds, but for now, it will have to wait.
We’re still rushing to cram in appointments and finish projects before school starts, but at least I found time to pack away the summer decorations and start dreaming about fall!
Have you seen all the fall decor popping up at stores like Hobby Lobby and Joanne’s?
It’s like they’re trying to help me forget it’s still a bazillion degrees outside!
On a totally different note, a recent trip to the dentist revealed that I need a root canal at the end of August.
Can you believe it?
I’m not looking forward to it at all!
So, if you’ve been through one, please send me your tips for making the process as painless as possible.

There’s no better combination than chocolate and peanut butter.
When it comes to sweet treats, these chocolate-covered peanut butter balls are arguably my favorite.
They are so darn delicious you won’t be able to eat just one!
