Ingredients
6cupsmixed greens
2apples, sliced (Fuji and Gala are my favorite)
⅓cupdried cranberries
½cupfeta cheese
½cupsalted chopped pecans
honey mustard salad dressing (as desired)
Instructions
Wash and prep the mixed greens and add to a large serving bowl.
Slice apples and soak in salt water solution for five minutes. Then rinse in a colander and add to the salad mix.
Add the dried cranberries, pecans, and feta cheese. Toss to combine.
Serve with honey mustard salad dressing (or dressing of choice) on the side.
Notes
*Tip: To prevent your apples from browning dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of salt in one cup of water. Soak your sliced apples in the salt water solution for five minutes. Then rinse in a colander under running water. Extra sliced apples should be stored in the fridge in a food storage bag.
