Simple Summer Spiked Strawberry Lemonade
There’s nothing more refreshing in the summer than an ice-cold glass of strawberry lemonade.
And if it has a little extra somethin’ in it, that makes it even better!
If you love a super simple cocktail, it doesn’t get much easier than this recipe for spiked strawberry lemonade. All you need are six ingredients, and in a short 5 minutes, you have a cold glass of sweet, summery goodness!
It’s a great drink to pair with all of your favorite grilling recipes and perfect for all of your summer gatherings.
Ingredients For Spiked Strawberry Lemonade
- 1 can frozen lemonade concentrate (12 oz)
- 1 bag frozen, sliced strawberries (16 oz)
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup vodka
- Fresh strawberries and lemon wedges to garnish (as desired)
How To Make Spiked Strawberry Lemonade
Pour one can of frozen lemonade concentrate into your blender.
Then dump in one bag of frozen, sliced strawberries. Whole strawberries will work as well, but I prefer the sliced ones. (It helps the brink blend more quickly!)
Next, add the water and vodka and blend on low to medium speed until the strawberries are broken down and the drink is smooth.
Tip: If you prefer a more slushy version of this drink, you can substitute one cup of ice for one cup of water. If the drink is too thick, slowly stir in a bit more water until you find a consistency you like.
When done, pour the drink into chilled glasses, garnish with fresh strawberries and a slice of lemon and enjoy!
This drink is dangerously delicious as is, but for those who like a cocktail that packs a bit more punch, you can add another splash or two of vodka to kick it up just a notch.
To make an under 21-friendly version, simply replace the vodka with additional water, and voila! You can mix up one batch for the adults at your party and one for the kids.
